About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to join our team as a Salesman/Driver
for our retail shop. In this versatile role, you will combine excellent customer service
with safe driving practices, actively promote our products, and ensure timely deliveries.
You will serve as a vital link between our store and our customers, helping to build strong
relationships and drive our sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle for customer and business deliveries.
- Load and unload merchandise carefully, ensuring all products are secured properly.
- Provide professional, friendly service during deliveries, addressing customer inquiries
and concerns.
- Promote and sell products to existing and potential customers, informing them of new
offers and updates.
- Collect payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate sales records.
- Support in-store tasks such as stocking shelves, and keeping the sales area tidy.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Collaborate with the sales and inventory teams to monitor stock levels and report
shortages or damages.
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in driving, sales, or a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage delivery schedules effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and recording sales.
- Self-motivated, reliable, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local routes and geography is an advantage.
